Congress candidate from Udaipur City Assembly seat, Gaurav Vallabh, in his letter sent to the Election Commission, has filed a complaint against the Governor of Assam and former senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Gulabchand Kataria. Gaurav Vallabh told the Election Commission through his letter that Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria is a resident of Udaipur. In such a situation, by coming to Udaipur on the occasion of Diwali, he is trying to create an atmosphere in favor of BJP candidate Tarachand Jain of Udaipur city.

Gaurav Letter Eci

Gaurav Vallabh wrote a letter to the Election Commission

‘Continually holding meetings while in Udaipur’

Gaurav Vallabh also told that during his stay in Udaipur, Gulabchand Kataria is holding meetings at different places and is also asking people to support Tarachand Jain and all these exercises are completely in accordance with the code of conduct. This is a blatant violation. The way Assam Governor Gulabchand Kataria, while holding the constitutional post, is campaigning in support of BJP candidate Tarachand is wrong. The Election Commission should take cognizance of this matter and they should be banned to maintain the model code of conduct.

Gaurav informed through his letter that currently BJP candidate Tarachand Jain is using his influence extensively because he is the committee chairman of Udaipur Municipal Corporation. Due to his influence, he misused his position by getting decorations done on the occasion of Diwali at many places in the city. By misusing his position, he has tried to woo the voters of the city, which is wrong.
