3 people died in a fight between two groups in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Both the groups have been at dispute with each other for a long time. Although in the previous disputes it did not reach the point of bloodshed, this time both the parties attacked each other with sharp weapons in the clash. During this time, three people from one side died and people from the other side were seriously injured.

In this incident, one of the parties, Manpreet Singh aged 27 years, Sukhtiyar Singh aged 30 years and Deep Singh aged 28 years have died. Gurpreet Singh of the other group has been seriously injured. The reason for the bloody clash between the two sides is said to be mutual rivalry. One of the reasons for the fight is said to be the running of drug de-addiction centers by both the parties, due to which there are regular disputes between the two groups.

Actually, this time the clash between the two sides started when Gurpreet Singh left the house with his friends at around 1.30 pm on Saturday. Manpreet Singh alias Mani’s house is about 100 meters away from his house. At the time when Gurpreet left his house, Manpreet was also leaving his house. Meanwhile, both of them came face to face and then an argument started between them regarding some issue.

Within no time, the dispute between the two increased so much that Gurpreet Singh along with his associates entered Manpreet Singh’s house and started vandalizing it. They also attacked Manpreet Singh’s son Balbir Singh, Sukhtiyar Singh alias Sukha’s son Jagtar Singh and Sharandeep Singh’s son Sukhjinder Singh with sharp weapons. Not only this, Gurpreet Singh not only beat up Manpreet Singh and his associates, but apart from this, Gurpreet Singh also damaged two bikes parked outside the house and fled from there along with his remaining associates.
The people seriously injured in this fight were taken to the hospital, where doctors declared all three dead. However, Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi of the other party is also injured. First he was taken to Civil Hospital Garhshankar but from where the doctors referred him to PGI. SSP Surendra Lamba gave information and said that the police received information at 2 o’clock on Saturday that there was a fight between two groups.
Bullets were also fired in the bloody battle
Giving further information, he said that news was also received that there was firing on the spot and 3 people were seriously injured due to the bullet, after which the police team immediately reached the spot and first of all took the injured to the hospital.
