Farmers have many demands, which include debt relief, MSP guarantee law for all crops, pension for 60 year old farmers, crop insurance scheme, justice for the farmers of Lakhimpur Kheri and repeal of the Electricity Amendment Bill 2022. Along with this, the harassment of farmers by the Punjab government, such as cases and arrests against farmers on the issue of stubble burning, displacement of settled farmers, forced installation of chip electricity meters, attachment of farmers’ land and removal of court cases and other demands like flood compensation. are also.

Farmers from Punjab and Haryana will come to Chandigarh in large numbers on tractor trolleys and try to stage a protest for three days. Farmers of Punjab-Haryana claim that they will reach the Punjab and Haryana Governor House in Chandigarh at 11 am on November 26 with tractor-trolleys, langar, beds, tents, kitchen items and will siege for three days.
