Apart from this, the anti-riot squad team is keeping special vigil in the city. Every activity in the areas around the mosque is being monitored with drones and CCTV cameras.

Internet service is temporarily closed. Namaz is not allowed outside Jama Masjid. According to the officials, worship is allowed only inside the mosque.

An official said that only local people are allowed to enter Jama Masjid. Metal detectors have been installed at all the doors of the mosque. Policemen are deployed on the rooftops of nearby houses. More than 50 suspicious people have been detained.
