Due to excessive effect of mosquito repellent, 5 women, 2 men and 2 children in the same house became unconscious. The family members allege that the Municipal Corporation employees sprinkled excess medicine in their house. Due to this, 9 people of the same family became unconscious.

On Friday evening, when fogging was going on in Jali Kothi Purva Ahmed Nagar of Municipal Corporation Ward 74 of Meerut. So there was a lot of smoke in one house.
Many people had come to the house due to mourning
Ikram Ilahi, a resident of the house, told that one person had died in his house and many people had come. Those who sprinkled the medicine sprinkled more medicine in the house. Due to this there was a lot of smoke in the house. Due to suffocation in the smoke, 5 women, 2 men and 2 children i.e. a total of 9 people present in the house became unconscious. Seeing this, the family called the ambulance, but the ambulance did not come. After this, with the help of the police, the unconscious people of the house were admitted to the district hospital. Where the victims are undergoing treatment.
The curtain was removed and all the smoke entered the house.
Naeem, a member of the victim’s family, told that many people had come to the house due to a death. As soon as the curtain of the window opening towards the road was removed, smoke suddenly came in from there. Due to this the women and children present in the house got upset. 9 people of the family became unconscious. He was immediately taken to the district hospital. Where the patients were given oxygen and then further treatment was started.

As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic in the administration. City Magistrate Anil Kumar reached the spot and inquired about the condition of the patients. He told that the health of some people had deteriorated due to the smoke of mosquito repellent. The condition of 2 people is improving. Those who have been sent home. The remaining 7 people are still undergoing treatment. He also said that action will be taken against municipal corporation employees.
