Pedro Acosta dominated on the first day of the Moto2 Valencia GP

Pedro Acosta once again led the second practice session of the Moto2 Valencia Grand Prix, completing a perfect Friday after setting the pace in the opening session as well.

After the initial flying laps, Arón Canet (Pons Wegow Los40/Kalex) held the lead, solidifying his position by improving on his second attempt. However, he was outpaced by Marcos Ramírez (OnlyFans American Racing/Kalex), who, in turn, lost the lead to Fermín Aldeguer (CAG SpeedUp/Boscoscuro).

The Spaniard took the top spot eight minutes into the session and held it until Canet overtook him after 33 minutes. Aldeguer reacted and reclaimed the lead, only to be overtaken shortly after by Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo/Kalex).

The champion completed the best lap in 1m33.768s, 0.132s faster than Aldeguer. Canet finished third, followed by Jake Dixon (Inde GasGas Aspar/Kalex) and Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS/Kalex), completing the top five fastest riders. Only three riders did not improve their times from the morning practice.
