The performance of Pakistan cricket team was very poor in the World Cup 2023. The team captained by Babar Azam could not even qualify for the semi-finals and finished fifth. The team won only 4 out of 9 matches and had to face defeat even from teams like Afghanistan. Since then the team is being heavily criticized in Pakistan. Babar’s captaincy and other players are being criticized a lot. In an effort to do something similar, a former Pakistani player crossed all limits of bad language.
In the World Cup held in India, the Pakistani team was not considered a contender for the title but many experts believed that this team would definitely reach the semi-finals. But even this could not happen. Not only did this team lose 4 consecutive matches, but it also became the first Pakistani team to lose 5 matches in the history of the World Cup. Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, a member of the last Pakistani team to play the World Cup semi-finals in 2011, has also not lagged behind in this matter. He too is not missing out from constantly criticizing the players on the team’s performance. Not only the players, but the Pakistan Cricket Board has also been their target. Even during a program on Monday 13th November, when Razzaq was making verbal attacks on the team and the board, he forgot his limits and said bad things about Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai.

Giving his example, Razzaq said that former captain Younis Khan had good intentions and hence he was able to perform well for his captain and Pakistan. Then Razzaq raised questions on the intentions of the current Pakistani board and team and said that they do not have the intention to develop the players. Razzaq failed to control his tongue and said that if someone’s intention is to marry Aishwarya Rai and then the children also become beautiful, then this cannot happen.
Afridi-Ajmal kept laughing
The surprising thing is that after hearing such a bad statement, the journalists and other people present at the event started laughing. Not only him, but former Pakistani players like Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal sitting next to Razzaq also started laughing and clapping.
