Pakistan cricket team had recently won accolades by winning the Test series against England by 2-1, but now immediately after this victory, PCB has taken such a decision, after which question marks have been raised on it. In fact, Pakistan cricket team’s ODI-T20 head coach Gary Kirsten suddenly resigned and the big thing is that the PCB immediately accepted his resignation and also announced the new head coach the very next moment. Pakistan has handed over the head coaching of the ODI and T20 team to Jason Gillespie in place of Kirsten.
Big responsibility to Jason Gillespie
Jason Gillespie is currently the head coach of Pakistan’s Test team. Immediately after Kirsten’s resignation, she has also been given the responsibility of ODI and T20 team. However, this responsibility is in name only because after Pakistan’s Zimbabwe and Australia series, someone else can take this post in his place. Pakistan has to play ODI and T20 series against Zimbabwe and Australia and Pakistan does not get a new ODI and T20 head coach so soon, hence PCB gave this responsibility to Gillespie.
