Yogi government is going to give old age pension to the elderly of the state sitting at home. Now they will not have to wander from Tehsil to District Magistrate’s office for pension. On giving consent, pension will be generated after an easy process. This proposal can be approved in the meeting to be held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. More than 15 proposals can be placed for approval in the cabinet meeting. The Chief Minister will hold a meeting with all the ministers after the cabinet meeting.

Making the pension process easier, the state government is going to link the family ID with ‘one family one identity’. After this amendment, there will be no need to wander for pension. To promote industrial development in the state, a proposal to amend the pledge scheme can also be placed before the cabinet. The proposal to give more land to Ashok Leyland for setting up a plant in Lucknow can be approved. Presently he has been given 70 acres of land. Apart from this, the proposal to return the earnest money given to JP in exchange of land can also be approved. The proposal to increase sugarcane price may also be approved. Recently, the Chief Minister had announced to increase the sugarcane price by Rs 30 per quintal. This proposal can also be placed in the cabinet meeting.

The proposal of the Higher Education Department to establish Swami Shukdevanand University in Shahjahanpur may get approval. The proposal regarding promotion of Kanungo’s peon (chain man) to the post of Lekhpal in the Revenue Department may be approved. Two percent of the posts of Lekhpal will be kept for promotion from chain men. For this, the proposal of Uttar Pradesh Accountant Service Rules (Fifth Amendment) 2025 will be placed in the cabinet. Apart from this, there is a proposal to give exemption in stamp duty and registration on tenancy lease for a period of up to ten years.

Proposal for formation of Food Processing Directorate also

There may also be a proposal to form a Food Processing Directorate in the state. There are no directorates in the department yet, whereas crores of rupees are being invested in the field of food processing. An IAS officer can be made the director in this. Proposal to purchase 14 new vehicles

There may be a proposal to amend rules 4,5,8 and 13 of Uttar Pradesh Engineer Service (PWD) (Higher) Rules 1990.
