NSE Holiday: Stock Market To Remain Closed On Monday; Details Inside

Trading in the Indian Share Market will be closed for three straight days. Trading on BSE and NSE will be halted on Monday, November 27 for the Guru Nanak Jayanti holiday and it will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday as usual.

 

Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru the founder of Sikhism.

When will trade resume?

According to the websites of the exchanges, BSE and NSE will resume trading on Tuesday i.e. November 28. Commodity exchange Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also close for the morning session on November 27 and open for the evening session later that day, according to information on its website (MCXIndia.com.)
