According to sources, one of these substances is ammonium nitrate, while the other is said to be an unknown explosive which is yet to be identified. All the samples have been sent to FSL lab for testing. Experts are examining their chemical composition to find out how the blast occurred and what type of explosive was used.

- Union Home Minister Amit Shah has now handed over the investigation of this case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
- NIA is now working on the terror network link, Faridabad-Pulwama connection and possible module of this blast.
- Security agencies have already conducted raids in many areas – Faridabad, Saharanpur, Pulwama and seized explosives.
