Six tech giants reach $200 billion club
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, six tech giants of the world have now crossed the net worth of $200 billion. Their total wealth is around $1.7 trillion (about Rs 142 lakh crore). It is clear from this that AI has taken the valuation of the tech sector to new heights in 2025. This list includes Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. His personal wealth is now equal to the market value of big American companies PepsiCo, Uber, Disney and Intel.
Elon Musk becomes number one billionaire
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is still the richest person in the world, whose net worth has reached $457 billion. He is trying to raise $1 trillion for his company. After him comes Larry Ellison of Oracle, whose wealth has increased to $317 billion.

The wealth of Bernard Arnault, owner of French luxury company LVMH, has also increased to $194 billion. Steve Ballmer and Nvidia’s Jenson Huang are on the way to cross the $175 billion mark.

After tech, Michael Dell is at the forefront, whose wealth has reached $164 billion. Warren Buffett is at $144 billion, while the Walton family (Jim, Rob and Alice) top the retail sector with a net worth of more than $120 billion. The wealth of Bill Gates, who was once at the top of this list, has reduced to $118 billion. From India, Mukesh Ambani is the top Indian billionaire with a net worth of $104 billion and Gautam Adani with a net worth of $91.5 billion.
The picture of wealth changed due to AI
In the year 2025, these six billionaires have earned a total of $330 billion. Only Larry Ellison’s wealth has increased by $124 billion, while the wealth of Larry Page and Sergey Brin has increased by $76 billion and $70 billion respectively. There has been a huge rise in the shares of companies like Nvidia. The value of the company touched $5 trillion this week. Microsoft has also crossed $4 trillion market cap.
However, with this strong wave of AI, many big companies are also making layoffs so that they can invest more in AI. According to the report, there are now 3,508 billionaires in the world whose total wealth is $13.4 trillion. Which is 10% more than last year.
