Swadesh store art gift Ambani: A portrait gifted to Nita and Mukesh Ambani at the launch of the Swadesh flagship store in Mumbai on December 5. This power couple was decked out in pashmina and silk, and framed in walnut wood. It took a year for skilled artisans to create this hand-made painting. According to an Instagram post shared by Swadesh Sansthan, the artwork uses four rare techniques – 3D lotus art, embossed zari, single-tone shading and walnut wood carving.
It took a month to prepare a picture
Yesterday, Bafi’s artisans Rafiq Ahmed Sofi and Shahnawaz Ahmed Sofi presented this painting to the Ambani couple on the occasion of the inauguration of the Swadesh store. He told that it took one year to complete it.
Swadesh’s official Instagram account said, “The artwork is a confluence of four rare techniques: three-dimensional lotus art, embossed zari, single-tone shading and walnut wood carving. The faces made of pashmina, the silk robes and the zari-woven background combine to reveal 45 colors and six subtle tone variations.” “Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani accepted it with great humility and gratitude, and were deeply impressed by the function and spirit of the classic in every detail.”
Mukesh Ambani advised to preserve art
Mukesh Ambani praised this picture and called it an example of human triumph in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). After seeing the artwork he was heard saying it was “unprecedented”. Nita Ambani described it as “Wonderful”.
The Reliance Industries chairperson said that the technologies used in the picture should be passed on from generation to generation. He said, “This art is ours, it should be passed on from generation to generation.” “In the age of AI, these arts will flourish.”
