Four different matches were played on the second day of the 19th All India Balwant Singh Kapur Under-19 Boys Hockey Tournament. International player Ram Saran, General Secretary of Hockey Punjab Amrik Singh Pawar, Colonel Balbir Singh Olympian, Jung Bahadur Singh Sangha, Davinder Singh Olympian arrived as chief guests in this tournament organised at Olympian Surjeet Hockey Stadium.
On the second day, in the first match of Pool A, Ghuman Heera Riser Hockey Academy Delhi defeated SGPC Hockey Academy Amritsar 3-2. Siddharth of the winning team was chosen man of the match. The second match was played in Pool D between Namdhari Sports Academy and Hockey Himachal Academy which ended at 1-1. Rohit Singh scored for Namdhari Hockey team and Akashdeep Singh scored for Himachal Academy. Player of the match Hockey: Akashdeep of Himachal Academy.
Third match Pool A, Round Glass Hockey Academy Mohali defeated SAI NCOE Imphal 3-1. For the winning team, Amandeep, Sukhmanpreet Singh, German Singh scored 1 goal each for the team. Ankush Kumar scored the only goal for SAI Imphal team. Sukhmanpreet of Round Glass Academy was selected as Player of the Match.
In the fourth match Pool D, Naval Tata Hockey Academy Jamshedpur defeated Boys Hostel Lucknow 3-1. Ashish Tani Purti scored a hat-trick for the winning team while Atif Rayani scored the only goal for Lucknow team. Ashish of the winning team was selected as Player of the Match.
