A sensational incident has come to light in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here, for Rs 2800, an elder brother killed his cousin by stabbing him with scissors. When the second cousin came to save him, he was also seriously injured by scissoring him. The accused fled from the spot after committing the crime. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Police is searching for the accused brother. The incident took place in Devsar village. The dispute between the two families was due to the fact that after the delivery of the accused’s wife, the mother of the deceased had said that she would not get the assistance amount, whereas the accused’s wife was to get the assistance amount of Rs 2800 for the delivery. Rs 2800 were to be given under Janani Suraksha Yojana. Asha, the mother of the deceased youth, works as a daughter-in-law.

Sand police station in-charge Kushal Pal Singh said that on Friday night, a dispute started between the two families regarding the amount received for the delivery of the wife of the accused under the Janani Suraksha Yojana. After this, accused Manoj fatally attacked Asha Bahu’s two sons Aansoo and Kunal with scissors. Manoj is a salon operator by profession.

The police officer said that Manoj brought scissors from his salon and stabbed Kunal several times on his stomach and head. When Ashu ran to save him, Manoj also injured him with scissors. Kunal was taken to Ghatampur CHC, where the doctor declared him dead. After this, Aansoo was also admitted from Ghatampur CHC to Kanpur Hallet Hospital in critical condition. The police have registered a case in the case based on the complaint of the deceased’s mother and have started searching for the accused.
