The Pankaj Tripathi-starrer ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ continues its successful theatrical run, inching closer to the ₹200 crore net milestone. Despite competition from Haiwaan and Hanuman Ansh, the Gurmmeet Singh-directed film is holding its ground with strong word of mouth, the franchise’s fandom, and the cinematic experience.
The film, also starring Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan in central roles, collected ₹5.50 crore net in India. The film collected the amount across 7,014 shows with 21 percent occupancy, despite a 58.5 percent drop from the previous day (Day 10/Second Sunday), when it earned ₹13.25 crore net.
In the overseas market, the film is also doing well, collecting ₹1 crore gross on Day 11 and pushing the overseas gross total near ₹50 crore.
