Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani, while presiding over the Constitution Protection Conference at Indira Gandhi Stadium, said that the Waqf Bill is an important issue. He said that we appeal to those with whose support the government is running, that they should try to understand the sentiments of Muslims. One cannot understand sitting in bungalows how deeply the emotions of Muslims are related to the Waqf Bill. During this period, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind also passed five resolutions.
Maulana Arshad Madani said that the government in the country is trying to grab the land of Muslims. We do not accept this. He said that our mosques are 400-500 years old. It is the responsibility of the government to protect our mosques. We are not outsiders, we are residents of this country. Don’t we have the right to live in this country? He said that the results of the policy adopted by the government were visible in the elections.
He said that through the Constitution Security Conference, we appeal to all patriots to unite and fight extremist political parties at the social level instead of reaction and emotional politics. Make every possible effort to fulfill the needs of brotherhood and justice in the country.
Follow Madrasa guidelines
Maulana Arshad Madani, we demand from the Central and State Governments to stay away from any kind of action against Madrassas. He said that we appeal to the madrassas to follow the guidelines of the National Child Rights Commission and pay attention to the implementation of the proposed rules of the government.
Maulana Madani said that insisting on Uniform Civil Code is part of a conspiracy to end the religious freedom of citizens and the basic spirit of the Constitution. This conflicts with the fundamental rights given in the Constitution and is unacceptable for Muslims. Efforts by some states to implement Uniform Civil Code are fatal for the unity and integrity of the country.

He said that Muslims are being harassed not only in the country but in the world. We appeal to the United Nations, European Union, World Muslim League and international organizations to take concrete steps to stop Israel’s bombing and aggressive war. We appeal through this conference that all countries should stop supplying war material to Israel.
