When the son did not give divorce, the mother-in-law beat the daughter-in-law and forced her to drink poison. The husband and wife kept running to three hospitals with their dying condition. The wife was treated at Chauth Hospital. After which his life was saved. The husband and wife were stumbling from door to door with their one and a half month old daughter in their arms.

Ravi’s son Karan, who lives here, says that in the year 2022, he was originally married to Nidhi, daughter of Balveer Singh, resident of Hathiyawali village under Farah police station area, his widowed mother-in-law Urmila Devi currently lives in Mahendranagar under the police station highway area.

Urmila said that daughter Nidhi’s husband Ravi alias Karan had been keeping her safe with his family. It is alleged that Nidhi gave birth to a daughter about one and a half years ago and gave birth to another daughter about one and a half months ago. Due to this, father-in-law Balveer Singh, mother-in-law Shakuntala Devi, sister-in-law Radha, Shivani, brother-in-law Rahul, Nakul became angry and started harassing Nidhi.

Ravi alias Karan said that his parents and sisters and brothers put pressure on him to divorce Nidhi and said that he would marry her second to a girl who would give birth to a boy. Due to this dispute, in the absence of Ravi alias Karan, Nidhi’s in-laws beat her up and gave her poisonous medicine, which worsened her condition. He was taken to Radheshyam Hospital, Amritdeep and Daresi Hospital in critical condition. There also the doctors gave up and finally after two consecutive days of treatment at Bhaskar Hospital in Mandi intersection, Nidhi regained consciousness.

When Ravi reached home with his wife Nidhi, his mother, father, brother and sister did not allow him to enter the house. Beaten and thrown out of the house. In this case, the police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother Urmila Devi. But the police is avoiding taking action against the accused.
