Sweet Potato Pudding

To make this, first of all wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and boil or steam them. After boiling, cool it and mash it. Now heat ghee in a pan. Add mashed sweet potatoes to it and cook on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. After this add milk in the pan and mix well. Now add sugar and cook until the air thickens. When it becomes thick and creamy, add cardamom powder and finely chopped dry fruits to it. Cook it on low flame for 2 minutes. If the halwa seems too thick, you can add some more milk. You can fry the dry fruits a little before adding them, this can help in enhancing the taste.

Makhana Halwa

You can make halwa from makhana. To make this, first of all add 1 tablespoon ghee in a non-stick pan and heat it. Add makhana to it and fry it on low flame until it becomes light brown and crispy. After the roasted makhana cools down a bit, crush it lightly in a mixer or by hand. Pour remaining ghee in the same pan and add finely chopped dry fruits into it. Now put ghee in the pan, add cashew nuts and almonds and fry for some time. Now add crushed makhana to it and fry on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes. After this add milk and mix well. Cook the milk in the makhana until it thickens. When the pudding starts thickening, mix sugar in it. Keep stirring continuously so that the halwa does not stick to the pan. Add chopped dry fruits on top and serve.

Beetroot Pudding

Beetroot is called the superfood of winter. Consuming its salad and juice is more beneficial. But you can also make halwa from it. For this, first of all wash and boil the beetroot or if you want, you can also steam it. Grate it after it cools down. Now heat ghee in a pan. Add grated beetroot and fry it on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. Now add milk to it and keep stirring until the paste thickens. Now add sugar to it and mix well. When it thickens, add dry fruits to it. Hot beetroot pudding is ready. Keep in mind that cook it on low flame so that it does not burn.
