During police interrogation, it was found that this crook has made more than 24 girls his victims so far and has duped them of more than 50 lakh rupees. The police have recovered fake army ID card, Aadhaar card, PAN card and other documents in the name of Harshit Chaudhary from the accused Shahbaz. All these documents are in the name of Harshit Chaudhary. The accused has prepared all these documents by editing them on the computer.
He was creating a ruckus by calling himself a major
The big thing is that his own family members were not aware about this criminal. When the police interrogated this criminal, he first tried to intimidate the police by calling himself a Major. However, later he told that he was from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. After this, when the police took him to his home, the family members were also shocked to know his reality. According to the police, the accused had created an account on the matrimonial site Shaadi.com in the name of Army Man. Through this, he used to contact Hindu girls and in case of any problem, he used to get those girls to talk to a woman by introducing her as his sister.
The accused is the father of two children
In this way, he used to sexually exploit girls by luring them with the promise of marriage. During this time, he used to help some girls when needed and also extort money from some girls. Police investigation revealed that the accused Mohammad Shahbaz is already married. He was a soldier in the Army’s 8 Rajrif Delhi unit. However, in June this year, he was dismissed on charges of indiscipline. He got married in March 2023 and he also has two children. During police interrogation, the accused told that he especially used to make working girls his victims.
Arrested from Delhi
On 31st August also, he had gone to Ahmedabad to meet a girl by Vande Bharat train. During this time, he saw a bag kept on a nearby seat and his intentions got corrupted and he picked up the bag and left. Police identified the accused on the basis of the reservation chart and followed him by putting his mobile number on surveillance. During this, the accused’s location was found to be in Delhi. After this, the police reached Delhi and arrested the accused. After the arrest of the accused, the police also informed the army. However, the army made it clear that the accused is not a major, but a dismissed soldier from the army.
