Samajwadi Party MLA and candidate in Bhiwandi Maharashtra Assembly elections Raees Sheikh has written a letter to MVA Manifesto Committee Chairman and former CM Prithviraj Chauhan. In this letter he has talked about including Muslim reservation in the manifestos. Also, a demand has been made to investigate the Love Jihad Committee. Apart from this, he has written in the letter that a budget of Rs 10,000 crore should be kept for all Muslim brothers and sisters.
This demand has been made to provide provision for Muslims in the budget. Maha Vikas Aghadi i.e. MVA is trying hard to woo Muslim voters before the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Mahavikas Aghadi is a part of the India alliance, which is working under the leadership of the Congress Party. At the same time, the Samajwadi Party is making strong efforts to bring these votes to its camp.

Where do Muslims dominate?
Muslim voters dominate a total of 38 assemblies in Maharashtra. There are a total of 288 assembly seats in the state. It is about 40 percent in 9 assembly constituencies. There are more than 20 percent Muslims on 38 seats. Nearly 50 percent of the voters in Bhiwandi seat are Muslims, hence the MLA Raees Shaikh has written a letter recommending for the convenience of Muslims.

Akhilesh Yadav’s sharp stance
The Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi includes the seats of Sharad Pawar faction and Shiv Sena. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav took a sharp stand regarding this. He said that we will try our best to remain with the alliance.
If MVA i.e. Maha Vikas Aghadi does not keep us in the alliance, then we will contest elections from those places where people of our organization are working. He had said that he will contest elections from those places which will only harm the alliance.
