Hanuman ji is immortal and eternal. Hanuman is such a god who has the boon that whatever devotee comes to Hanuman ji, nothing will harm him in Kaliyuga. Hanuman ji has quickly removed the troubles of those devotees who have worshiped Hanuman ji with full devotion and devotion.
Through this article, we are going to tell our readers an interesting incident related to Hanumanji. Do you know that usually Hanuman ji did not use mace in war, but used punch.
Hanuman ji has been called “Mahavir” in Ramcharitmanas. The word “veer” has been used for many things in the scriptures. Like Bhima, Bhishma, Meghnath, Ravana, etc. but the word “Mahavir” is used only for Hanuman ji.
According to Ramcharitmanas, “Veer” is one who is full of five characteristics.
1. Vidya-Veer,
2.Dharma-Veer,
3.Daan-Veer,
4.Karma-Veer,
5.Balveer.
But “Mahavir” is the one who has controlled even the brave with five characteristics under his control. Lord Shri Ram had five characteristics and Hanuman ji had kept them under his control. This quatrain of Ramcharitmanas proves this.
“Sumir Pavansut Pavannamu. Apne Vas Kari Rakhe Ramu”
And “Mahabir Vikram Bajrangi” has also been used in Ramcharitmanas Manas.
According to the scriptures, Indra’s “Eravat” has the strength equal to 10,000 elephants. “Digpal” has the strength of 10,000 Airavata. Indra has the power of 10,000 Digpal. But in the scriptures, the smallest finger of Hanuman ji has the power of 10,000 times that of Indra. According to this incident described in the scriptures, Ravana’s son Meghnath was very afraid of Hanumanji’s punch. Meghnath used to run away as soon as he saw Hanuman ji. When Ravana heard the praise of Hanuman’s punch, he faced Hanuman ji and said to Hanuman ji, “Your punch is very powerful, come try it on me too, I will punch you and you will hit me.”
Then Hanumanji said, “Okay! You kill first.”
Ravana said, “Why should I kill? You kill first.”
Hanuman said, “You hit first because after taking my punch you will not be able to hit.”
Now Ravana first punched Hanuman ji. The confirmation of this episode is this chaupai curt “Dekhi Pavansut Dhayu Bolat Bachan Hard. Aavat Kapihi Hanyo Tehin Mushti Prahar Praghor”.
Due to the influence of Ravana, Hanuman ji remained on his knees, did not fall on the earth and then got up carefully, filled with anger. Ravana is a symbol of attachment and the punch of attachment is so strong that even the best saints fall on their knees. Then Hanumanji hit Ravana with one blow. Ravana fell as if a mountain had fallen due to a thunderbolt. When Ravana lost his consciousness, he woke up and started appreciating Hanumanji’s great strength. Goswami Tulsi Das ji says, “Arrogant Ravana does not praise anyone but is forced to praise Hanumanji.
Hanuman should be happy after hearing the praise, but he is crying and cursing himself.” According to Goswami ji, Hanumanji said while crying, “Shame on my man, shame on me and shame on me too, O traitor! You are still alive.”
That means Ravana, the traitor of Ram, is alive even after being punched by Hanuman ji. Look at the power of attachment, if anyone can kill attachment then only Lord Shri Ram and no one else can kill it. This quatrain confirms this
“Muruchha ga bahori so jaga. Kapi bal bipul sarahan laga dhigh dhigh mam purush dhigh mohi. Jaun tain jiyat rahe sisurdrohi”.
