India’s two-wheeler brand Kinetic is gearing up for a major comeback in the electric scooter segment. The company has officially announced that deliveries of its much-awaited Kinetic DX electric scooter will begin by the end of November 2025. While an exact date hasn’t been revealed but the excitement among buyers is already rising, especially as the festive season boost continues to shape buying trends.
Kinetic, once a household name for petrol scooters, is now positioning itself as a modern EV manufacturer. The brand opened its first new-age showroom on October 16, 2025, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter. To strengthen its presence, Kinetic will open five more showrooms this month and aims to set up 200 dealerships across India by FY26-27. This aggressive expansion hints at strong confidence in its new product lineup.
For the next fiscal year, Kinetic plans to sell around 60,000 units of the DX, which means a monthly target of nearly 12,000 scooters. This shows the brand’s commitment to becoming a serious player in India’s fast-growing electric scooter market.
The Kinetic DX itself packs a strong set of features designed for daily commuting. It comes with a 2.6 kWh LFP battery, known for safety and long life. The electric motor produces 6.4 bhp of peak power, allowing the DX to reach a top speed of 90 kmph. On a full charge, the scooter can travel up to 116 km, which is suitable for most city riders.
Riders also get three ride modes- Range, Power and Turbo to adjust performance based on their needs. Because it is a modern EV, the DX comes loaded with features such as – 8.8-inch digital display, bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, connected vehicle tech, LED lights, 37-litre underseat storage, hill-hold assist & reverse assist and cruise control. These features aim to provide convenience and comfort, especially for families and daily commuters.
Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman of Kinetic India, said the DX is becoming a preferred choice because of its practical range, strong metal body, large storage space, and low maintenance. He added that features like Easy Key and Easy Charge make everyday use simple and stress-free.
With deliveries starting soon and a massive dealership rollout underway, the Kinetic DX could become one of India’s most popular electric scooters in 2026.
