Kiara is currently on maternity break and has not yet officially announced any of her upcoming films. It is reported that she was going to work in Maddock Horror Comedy Universe’s film ‘Shakti Shalini’, but her place has been taken by Anit Padda. Kiara was also announced to play the lead role in ‘Don 3’, but the news is that Kriti Sanen has replaced her. Now news is coming that Kiara has got another film in her hands.
When will the shooting of Kiara’s upcoming film start?
According to a report in Mid-Day, Kiara has signed her first film after delivery and is all set to play the character of Meena Kumari in Siddharth P Malhotra’s film ‘Kamal Aur Meena’. Talking about this, a source said, ‘Talks were going on for months. In Kiara, the director has found an artiste who has the old Bollywood charm as well as the emotional depth to do justice to the life of Meena Kumari. According to reports, the shooting of Kamaal and Meena will start in the first 6 months of the year 2026. Another source said, ‘This will give Kiara enough time to prepare, as she will have to learn the basics of Urdu.’ The film ‘Kamaal Aur Meena’ was announced in September last year.
