New Delhi: Kia India has announced updates to its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program, further strengthening its presence in the used car market. The main goal behind this program is to boost customer confidence and ensure higher quality standards. The company has refined its certification and warranty offerings under the Kia CPO initiative.
These changes are designed to make owning a used Kia or other cars from other brands sold through Kia’s network more reliable and transparent for Indian buyers. In addition to its own models, Kia has begun offering certification and warranty coverage for cars from other brands sold through its CPO network. These multi-brand vehicles will receive a warranty of up to 12 months or 15,000 km.
Kia Warranty Extension and Its Conditions
Kia has also extended the certification age limit for its own cars from five years to seven years. Furthermore, the warranty period has been increased to up to 24 months or 40,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
Every pre-owned car sold under the Kia Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program undergoes a comprehensive 175-point inspection. Only vehicles that successfully meet this standard quality norm are certified and offered for sale through the CPO network. This rigorous evaluation ensures consistency, transparency, and long-term reliability for customers, said Kia.
At present, Kia India operates 114 Certified Pre-Owned outlets across the country and plans to expand this network further to make buying used cars easier and safer for customers.
Mr. Atul Sood – Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “Kia India continues to prioritise customer-centric innovation. With the enhanced Kia CPO warranty and the launch of a warranty program for other brand vehicles, we’re making high-quality, certified vehicles more accessible and trustworthy. These initiatives reflect our commitment to delivering peace of mind, transparency, and exceptional ownership experiences to every buyer, regardless of the brand they choose.”
