Battery Options
One of the highlights of the Carens Clavis EV is that it is available in two battery choices and this is helpful because buyers can choose based on how far they usually travel.
- 42 kWh battery (Standard Range) offers a claimed driving range of 404 km on a full charge.
- 51.4 kWh battery (Extended Range) is the bigger battery gives you up to 490 km, which is great for long trips.
Both versions use a lithium-ion NMC battery, known for efficiency and durability. Charging is also convenient with AC home charger (11 kW charger), this car can charge from 10-100% in about 4 to 4.75 hours and with fast charger (100 kW DC), it charge from 10-80% in just 39 minutes.
