Keshav Dwadashi 2025: Margashirsha month is an important and sacred month of Sanatan Dharma. In this month, during the Mahabharata war with Lord Krishna, he preached Geeta to Arjun in Kurukshetra. Keshav Dwadashi 2025 Tithi
This year, the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month will start on 01 December at 07:01 pm. This date will end at 03:57 pm. The time of Paran will be from 06:58 AM to 09:03 AM on 3rd December. On this day, coordination of Matsya Dwadashi and Aranya Dwadashi is also made. Because of this, this day is considered to give more auspicious results.
Keshav Dwadashi Puja Vidhi
On the day of Keshav Dwadashi, after taking bath in the morning, one should wear clean clothes. Then the idol of Lord Vishnu or Shaligram should be installed in the place of worship. After this, scent, flowers, incense, lamp and offerings should be offered to them. Keshavaya Namah mantra should be chanted. Bhajan-kirtan should be done. On the next day, Kheer, coconut and Dakshina should be donated on Trayodashi.
Significance of Keshav Dwadashi
According to the Puranas, in the Dwapar era, Shri Krishna had killed the demon named Keshi. Only after this he became known by the name Keshav. Worshiping Shri Krishna on this day is considered especially fruitful. Worshiping Shri Krishna on this day gives courage, determination and victory over negativity.
