People of Maratha community got angry after seeing the photo of Shivaji Maharaj on the packet of firecrackers. They protested fiercely in the firecracker market.
Bajrang Dal officials say that having photos on firecracker packets is an insult to God and other great men, due to which firecracker traders were advised not to sell such firecrackers. But even after that such firecrackers are being sold in the market. On Wednesday night, Maratha community created a ruckus after seeing Shivaji Maharaj’s photo on firecrackers. Expressing his anger, he has also given a complaint application to the police.
People of Maratha community got angry after seeing the photo of Chhatrapati Shivaji
Members of Indore’s organization Shivrai Shri Maratha Samaj reached the firecracker market. There, when he saw some packets selling firecrackers with the photo of his idol Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji, he lodged a protest. Besides, all the firecracker traders were also advised that if they sell such firecrackers in the market, then legal action will be taken against them. During this, the members of the organization also raised slogans. Besides, an application has also been given to Rajendra Nagar Police.
Warned of legal action
Bhupendra Arsule, associated with the organization, says that firecrackers were being sold with the photo of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the idol of Maratha community, which is wrong. Because whoever goes home with firecrackers will also tear the photo of Shivaji Maharaj stuck on the firecrackers to burst them, which will cause insult. Due to this the organization has expressed protest. He said that even after that, if the firecracker traders continue selling firecrackers in the market like this, then legal action will be taken against them.
