The committee sought a report from the senior treasury officer Muzaffarnagar on this matter. The report said that there is no government order to give an additional increment to the employees who retired on June 30. On this basis, the committee had rejected the petitioners’ application on August 5, 2019. Challenging this order, both the former employees had taken refuge in the High Court.
