New Delhi: Honda Cars India has released a teaser for a new version of the Elevate SUV. The image shows a familiar shape similar to the current Elevate, hinting that this could be a new special edition. The company hasn’t revealed the details yet, but it is expected to be called either the Elevate Bold Edition or Elevate Explorer Edition.
In the teaser, the SUV appears with a redesigned front grille that includes a new accessory. Like the Black Edition, the chrome strip connecting the headlamps has been blacked out. However, to make this version stand out, it gets a red accent line that runs vertically through the grille.

The new Elevate special edition might have sporty red touches both outside and inside. On the exterior, the SUV is likely to feature red highlights on the front grille and bonnet. It could also come with 17-inch alloy wheels painted in a red finish. Inside the cabin, the new version might get an all-black theme or a mix of black with red highlights for a sportier feel.
Elevate Inside Changes

Apart from these cosmetic changes, the cabin design and features are expected to stay the same. The current Honda Elevate already comes with a long list of features. These include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, six-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, lane-watch camera, G-metre display, and a 7-inch TFT screen. It also offers a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, a single-pane sunroof with pinch guard, and the Honda Sensing ADAS safety suite.
Elevate Powertrain Changes

Mechanically, the SUV will continue with the same engine setup. It uses a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the Honda City sedan. This engine makes 121bhp of power and 145Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox, both driving the front wheels.
Honda Elevate Hybrid Upgrade
In addition to this special edition, Honda is working on a hybrid version of the Elevate that will launch in 2026. The hybrid model will likely borrow the City e. HEV’s 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an electric motor. It is also expected to get some small updates, like hybrid badging and new software tweaks.
