A painful incident has come to light in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. Here two cousin sisters, who were playing hide and seek, hid in the deep freezer lying unused in the house. During this time the freezer which was faulty got itself locked from outside. Due to this, both the cousin sisters died due to suffocation. No one among the people of the area can believe that the sisters who were playing swans just a short while ago are no longer in this world and death has snatched them away.

Confirming the incident, police station in-charge Bhavani Shankar said that the accident took place in Khamnor area on Thursday afternoon. Two cousin sisters were playing hide and seek at home and during this time they hid in the unused freezer and later died.

According to media reports, in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, two cousin sisters named Payal and Ritika were playing hide and seek inside their house in the afternoon. While playing, both of them went and hid in a broken deep freezer in the house. During this time the door of the fridge itself got locked from outside. After this both the cousin sisters remained stuck in the fridge for a long time.

Girls died due to suffocation in freezer

When the family members started searching for the girls and could not find them for a long time, the family members became worried. When the family members started searching for the two girls and opened the locked freezer in the house, they started screaming. The bodies of both were frozen in the deep freezer.

Both the girls were lying dead in the freezer. After that the family members informed the police. Police recovered the bodies of the girls and after post-mortem the bodies were handed over to the family.

Hide and seek game took the lives of girls

According to the information received, the fathers of both the cousin sisters work in Mumbai. After receiving information about this tragic accident, they are returning home. After their return, the last rites of the girls will be performed together.

Meanwhile, this incident has created an uproar in the family and the area. Family members said that they cannot believe that the girls are no longer among them.

The names of the girls are Payal and Ritika. Payal’s age is stated to be 10 years and Ritika’s age is stated to be 11 years. He told that both the girls always played together and on this day too they were playing hide and seek and during this time they hid in the freezer and this became the reason for their death.
