The bride clearly said that she wants to marry her lover and not as per the wishes of the family.

The marriage of the girl, resident of Lalpura police station area, was fixed with a PAC sub-inspector of a village in Mahoba district. Tilak was offered with much fanfare on 27th November and the wedding procession was scheduled to take place on 29th November. As the wedding procession was moving forward, suddenly the bride called and refused to marry the groom. The groom was shocked by this and there was panic in the families.

The family explained, cited the expenses, but the bride did not agree.
As soon as the bride’s family came to know about this decision, they tried their best to pacify her.
