A speeding, uncontrolled DTC bus killed two people in Delhi’s Monastery area. On Monday night at around 10:00 pm, the DTC bus was coming from the Monastery side on the Ring Road. The speeding bus hit a huge iron pole near the monastery. At the same time, two people including a constable died due to the fall of the pole. There was an outcry during the incident. The police have arrested the accused bus driver. At the same time, investigation into the matter has been started.

The DTC bus was coming from the Monastery side on Ring Road. Meanwhile, the speeding bus hit an iron pole hard in the Monastery area. A person was standing near the pole who came under its influence, due to which he died.

DTC driver crushed constable

DTC driver Vinod did not stop the bus there but took it further for about 100 meters and constable Victor posted at the barricade also got hit by this iron pole, due to which he also died on the spot. The driver of the DTC bus was driving the bus despite the iron pole being stuck in the bus after the accident. After colliding with the police barricade, the bus climbed over the divider.

Two people died in road accident

In this accident, constable Victor (27), posted at Civil Lines police station, who was a resident of Nagaland, died. At the same time, the second person who died has not been identified yet. It is being told that Constable Victor was deployed on night patrolling duty. Had the driver of the DTC bus stopped the bus after hitting the pole, Delhi Police constable Victor would not have died. At present, the police have caught the accused DTC driver Vinod and have started investigating the case.
