Father and two daughters died in car fire in Kurukshetra, were returning to Chandigarh after celebrating Diwali

Three members of a family died while three others sustained burn injuries when a car caught fire in Shahabad area of ​​Kurukshetra, Haryana. Police said on Sunday that this incident happened on Saturday night when the entire family was going from Sonipat to Chandigarh.

A police official said that the deceased have been identified as Sandeep Kumar, his daughters Amanat and Pari. Police said that the people injured in the accident have been admitted to PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is not yet known how the vehicle caught fire.

Actually, the moving car of a family returning to Chandigarh after celebrating Diwali in Rehmana village of Sonipat burst into flames. In this accident, the father and his two daughters traveling in the car died. The accident happened at 11 pm on Saturday night near New Sukhdev Dhaba near village Mohdi in Shahabad on the National Highway.

Three people died in the accident

According to the information, after the car suddenly caught fire, it got locked and eight people from the same family were trapped inside. By the time the driver somehow opened the lock of the car, the six people traveling in it were burnt to death. After the accident, the police, with the help of passers-by, sent him to Adesh Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Here doctors declared Sandeep Kumar (37), his daughter Pari (6) and Khushi (10) dead.
