Take 2 ml of oil in a bowl and add a teaspoon of yellow butter to it. If the color of the oil does not change, it is pure and safe for consumption. But if the color turns red, the oil is impure and can cause many health problems.


How to check oil quality at home

Pour some oil into a clean container and place it in the refrigerator. Pure oil will solidify, while adulterated oil may remain liquid. Olive oil begins to solidify in 30 minutes.

Apply a little oil to a white piece of paper and let it dry. Pure oil will leave a uniform, transparent spot without any greasiness.

You can also guess from the smell of the oil whether the oil is adulterated or not, because pure oil has a natural smell, which does not come from adulterated oil.

If you are getting any oil at a very low price then it clearly means that it is made from some cheap material.
