Exclusive | Ashnoor Kaur reacts to Bigg Boss eviction, calls Tanya the ‘biggest fake person’

Mumbai: Ashnoor Kaur suffered a sudden eviction for allegedly hurting co-contestant Tanya Mittal during the ‘Ticket to Finale’ task. Following the incident, the host, Salman Khan, asked Ashnoor to leave the house. In an exclusive interview, Ashnoor spoke of the eviction.

When asked about her sudden eviction, Ashnoor commented, “I am very disappointed. I feel extremely dejected. When you are so close to the finale, and suddenly your dream breaks apart, it feels terrible. It all happened so suddenly. I am still trying to understand why my journey in Bigg Boss ended so soon.”

Further, she stated that other serious incidents weren’t given as much importance as hers. “There were many incidents this season where no action was taken, but when it came to me, I was shown the door,” said Ashnoor.

The 21-year-old actress also detailed the incident that led to her eviction. “Look, it was a task, and the plank was very heavy. My shoulders were hurting badly. It was the third round. If you watch the initial video, you’ll see my eyes were down and I was bent over because I couldn’t bear the weight. As soon as the task ended, I took the plank off my shoulders and threw it down. At that moment, I didn’t even realize that Tanya got hurt,” she said.

Ashnoor also claimed that Tanya was laughing and playing after the task. “Just two minutes after the task, she was laughing and playing. I know Tanya — she makes a mountain out of a molehill. She is the biggest fake person in the house. If she was actually hurt, she would have created a scene right then or spoken openly. When she spoke later, I felt she was acting like always. I even said this on Weekend Ka Vaar,” said the actress.

Ashnoor denies hurting Tanya deliberately

She also asserted that she had not hurt Tanya deliberately. When asked if Gaurav Khanna took advantage of the situation, Ashnoor agreed. She stated, “Gaurav never told me that Tanya was hurt — he only said, ‘You hit her,’ which I denied because I knew I hadn’t. Later, I found out he even gave Tanya ointment, which he hid from me. I felt betrayed. If he was really concerned that I might have made a mistake, he should have told me immediately that Tanya was hurt and asked me to come check. And after my eviction, he said, ‘You could have stayed in my shadow.’ That’s not right. I didn’t go there to stay in anyone’s shadow.”

Ashnoor then named Tanya and Shehbaz as people who speak behind people’s backs. “Even when my father visited, they spoke against him too. This shows a weakness in their character — that they don’t have the courage to say anything upfront,” said Ashnoor.
