In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, actor Ejaz Khan was contesting from Versova seat of Mumbai. But he had to face a crushing defeat. Ejaz was the candidate of Versova MP Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party. But when the election results came, not only Ejaz but also his fans were shocked. Ejaz got only 155 votes.
After this crushing defeat, now Ejaz Khan’s reaction has also come to light. After this defeat, he posted a video on his Instagram and wrote, “Everything is a game of EVMs… Those candidates who have been fighting for years and are in politics, have big parties and big names, those candidates are also losing the elections. Or have brought very few votes. I am a social worker who tries to be the voice of the people and will keep trying.”
Ijaz further writes, “But I feel sorry for those people who had the name of the party. Had his own track record. Who spent crores in 15 days. They lost very bad. It’s all a game of EVMs, brother.”

This time the Mahayuti alliance of the Bharatiya Janata Party has registered a bumper victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Talking about Versova seat, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Haroon Khan has defeated BJP’s Bharti Lavekar by 1600 votes in a close contest. Ijaz stood 11th on this seat with 155 votes.
