Raids at two places in Lucknow – statements of family members shocking

The first raid was conducted at the ancestral house located in Lalbagh Khandari Bazaar. His father Saeed Ansari, who is a retired officer from the Health Department, was present here. He said, “My daughter was a topper in medical college, always helped patients. She can’t be a terrorist, my heart doesn’t agree.” Neighbors told that Shaheen had not come home for the last two years. The second raid was conducted at the house of Shaheen’s brother Dr. Parvez Ansari in Madianv. The house was locked, police entered by breaking the lock and seized several documents, laptop, bike and car.

In 2009, she was sent to Tirva Medical College, Kannauj, but was returned back to Kanpur after a year. In 2013, she was suspended due to persistent absence and after that she mysteriously disappeared. No trace of him was found for many years.

Life changed after divorce

Shaheen was married to Dr. Zafar Hayat, an ophthalmologist from Maharashtra. Both of them got divorced in 2015. This was the period when Shaheen’s life took a new turn. It is said that during this time he met Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, who was studying at Al-Falah University (Faridabad). Gradually she moved away from the medical profession and started coming in contact with radical Islamic organizations.

How did she join the women’s wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed?

Sources claim that Muzammil got Shaheen a job as a faculty at Al-Falah University. There she met Jaish-e-Mohammed’s women’s wing “Jamaat ul Mominat”. According to the agencies, Shaheen was recruited from there as a woman commander. She used to travel frequently between Delhi-NCR and Jammu and Kashmir and was in contact with many suspicious people.

Dr. Parvez’s sudden resignation and ‘suspicious car’

Shaheen’s brother Dr. Parvez Syed Ansari was also an assistant professor at Integral University, Lucknow. He suddenly resigned – according to college sources, he said “he has been selected in some other college.” But the car that ATS found from his house – Alto with number UP11 BD 3563 – was registered with Saharanpur RTO and had an Integral University pass on it. Was Shaheen really a terrorist or part of some conspiracy?

His father and neighbors still remember him as a sensitive doctor. But in the files of ATS, his name has now become “Doctor Turned Suspect”. Is it just a coincidence that a doctor, who was engaged in serving the patients, now seems to be trapped in the web of terror? Or is this a deeper conspiracy – which will take time for the investigating agencies to prove true?
