In the by-elections held on 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 7 seats. To celebrate the victory, a Vijayotsav program was organized at the state office in Lucknow. During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the credit for this victory goes to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, because it is his guidance that takes the double engine government forward with security, good governance and public welfare policies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that if we divide, we will be divided and if we remain united, we will be safe. Regarding the big victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in Kundarki, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, ‘This is the victory of nationalism in Kundarki, it is the victory of heritage and development. Every person remembers his roots and origins. I think that among all the people who might have been lost, someone must have remembered his Gotra and someone must have remembered his caste. Kundarki’s victory tells us where the Samajwadi Party is going to go in the coming times.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, ‘The blessings that the public gave to the BJP alliance today is extraordinary. Those who called the semi-finals of 27th were disappointed today. Those running Family Development Authority in the name of PDA lost. The people of the state deflated the balloon of Samajwadi Party. If we take action against criminals and rapists, the public will definitely bless us.

BJP has performed well in the by-elections held on 9 assembly seats of UP. Except Sisamau and Karhal seats, NDA has captured all the other seats. 6 seats have gone to BJP and one seat to its ally RLD. BJP registered victory in Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Khair, Kundarki, Katehri and Majhwan. RLD has captured Meerapur. With this victory, history has been created in the Muslim dominated Kundarki seat. After 1993, BJP has now won this seat.
