Today the festival of Bhaiya Dooj and Shri Chitragupta Puja was celebrated across the country. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also visited Gardnibagh Thakurbari in the capital on Sunday on the occasion of Chitragupta Puja and worshiped Lord Shri Chitragupta. During this period, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wished for the development, happiness, peace and prosperity of the state.
Shri Chitragupta Puja is celebrated every year on the festival of Bhaiya Dooj, two days after Diwali. Four days later, the Chhath festival of Suryopasna is celebrated which lasts for three days.
Nitish Kumar welcomed in Shri Chitragupta Temple
When Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Gardnibagh Thakurbari on the day of Chitragupta Puja, he was welcomed by the Chitragupta Puja Committee by gifting him Angavastra. After this, the Chief Minister also visited Naujar Ghat in Patna City, Shri Chitragupta Temple located in Diwan Mohalla and offered prayers. He wished for the development, happiness, peace and prosperity of the state.
