CM Mohan Yadav’s surprise inspection in Indore, information about computerized FIR and public feedback system

During his visit to Indore, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of MG Road police station. He reviewed the computerized system of FIR, diary, visitor register and feedback system. Instructions were given to take action against absent constables and improve the system of police stations.

Bhopal : During his visit to Indore, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a surprise inspection of MG Road police station on Friday. He saw all the arrangements of the police station and checked the registers. Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh shared information about the innovations being made for the convenience of the general public.

Inspection of computerized system of FIR

The Chief Minister inspected the Head Moharir Room. He saw the computerized system of filing FIR and took information from the staff about the entire process. During examination of the journal it was found that the last entry was at 11:38 am.

Instructions for investigation on absent constable

During inspection, it came to light that constable Rinku Singh was absent without any information since November 8. The Chief Minister directed the Police Commissioner to immediately investigate the absence and take action as per rules.

Visitor Register and Citizen Feedback System

The Chief Minister also looked at the visitor register. Police Commissioner said that this register has been kept in every police station for the convenience of the public and to collect feedback. Based on this, the police takes feedback over phone from about 5,000 citizens every month. For this, a separate feedback section has been created in the Police Commissioner’s office.

QR code facility for feedback

The police also told the Chief Minister that citizens can give digital feedback by scanning the QR code. This facility is helping in increasing public participation.

Instructions for improvement in police stations

The Chief Minister directed that vehicles parked haphazardly in police stations should be removed. He said that every person coming to the police station should be heard with sensitivity and the police should give priority to the convenience of the public with full efficiency.
