Ahead of the 2026-27 home season’s start, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the introduction of three new associate sponsors, which includes ChatGPT, SBI Life, and Campa.
The Indian cricket governing body revealed that the deals are worth ₹130 crores, which they have revealed is a massive 44% increase from the previous cycle.
The partnership with the three new sponsors is for a period of two years and will run until 2028. The upcoming home season will start on 27th October with a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series against West Indies. Later, the Men in Blue will host Sri Lanka in as many games in December before playing three ODIs against Zimbabwe to start the new year. The home season will end with a blockbuster with a five-match Test series against Australia, which will be the 2027 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) from January 21 to March 3.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces the appointment of Campa, SBI Life and ChatGPT as Associate Partners for India Home Cricket for a two-season period, commencing with India’s upcoming home series against the West Indies and running through March 2028. The three new partnerships have a combined deal value of over ₹130 crore, representing a 44% increase over the previous cycle, underscoring the strong appeal and growing commercial value of India’s home cricket season,” said the BCCI statement.
“The partnerships further broaden the BCCI’s commercial portfolio, bringing together leading brands across the beverage, insurance and AI technology sectors and creating new opportunities to connect with cricket fans. They reflect the versatility of Indian cricket as a platform for businesses to build visibility, reach consumers and engage with a large and passionate fan base,” the Indian cricket governing body added.
Interestingly, BCCI is yet to announce the title sponsor for the upcoming season, with an announcement anticipated soon.
