The whole matter is of 11 August 2024. Alok Agarwal, a cloth merchant of V Cloth Market, went to buy vegetables in Chimanganj Mandi area at 8 am. While buying vegetables here, his mobile suddenly disappeared somewhere. When the mobile disappeared from his pocket, Alok Agarwal immediately called his mobile with the help of a friend, but it was switched off. Alok Agarwal immediately informed the Chimanganj police station about this incident of mobile theft through an application and also got an E-FIR done.
The businessman scanned 35 CCTV footage
Even after 5 days of filing the complaint, the Chimanganj police station did not take any action in this case. Alok Agarwal himself started tracking down the thieves. To trace the thieves, Alok searched the footage of about 35 CCTV cameras installed in the Mandi area, after which he got a video in which the entire incident of theft was captured. After watching this CCTV footage, it was found that a total of three people had committed this theft.

When cloth merchant Alok Agarwal was buying vegetables, a young man approached him and while buying vegetables, he suddenly used a bag as a cover and immediately stole the mobile from the merchant’s pocket. During this time, another young man was also present along with the mobile thief, who was keeping an eye on every person coming and going to the spot. Also, a woman was also seen.
The businessman gave the video of the theft to the Chimanganj police station
On seeing the footage, it was found that after stealing the mobile from the businessman’s pocket, first the mobile thief disappeared, then the woman buying vegetables and finally the young man who was monitoring the people at the scene disappeared. The businessman has provided the video of this incident to the Chimanganj police station, but despite that the police have not been able to solve this case yet.
