The political atmosphere in the state has heated up due to the Haryana assembly elections. Meanwhile, Bittu Bajrangi alias Rajkumar Panchal, an accused in the Nuh violence case and a cow protector, filed his nomination on Monday as an independent candidate from Faridabad’s NIT assembly constituency. Assembly elections will be held in Haryana on October 5.
District Election Officer Vikram Singh confirmed in an official statement that Bittu Bajrangi has filed his nomination as an independent candidate from the NIT Faridabad seat.
Accused in Nuh violence case
In fact, Bittu Bajrangi, who formed the Gau Raksha Bajrang Force, has a long history of controversies. Bajrangi is an accused in the Nuh violence case, which broke out in July last year after a mob attacked a procession organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
