A major accident took place in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a speeding car collided with a tree. In the accident, four members of the same family, including a woman and her two children in the car, died on the spot. Also three people have been seriously injured.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Eastern Region Dharam Singh Marchal said that on Friday night at around 10.30 pm, the Scorpio car going from Najibabad to Nahtaur village Nasirpur went out of control and collided with a tree on the roadside. ASP said that the car rider Sultan’s wife Gulfsa (28), his eight-day-old daughter Anadia, elder daughter Alisha (6) and sister Chand Bano (35) died on the spot. While Sultan, who was driving the car, his five-year-old son Shaad and niece Adeeba (14) were seriously injured.
He said that all three have been admitted to the district hospital and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. After the incident, the family members of the deceased are in bad condition and crying.

A day earlier, three people died while four others were injured when a car collided with a truck on the Jhansi-Khajuraho highway. According to police, the victims were part of an orchestra group and were returning to Jhansi after performing in Mauranipur city. Uldan police station in-charge Dinesh Kuril said that a car collided with a truck parked on the roadside near Shri Ram Mahavidyalaya. In this accident, two women named Shabnam (28) and Mini (24) died on the spot, while the car driver Manish Rajput (35) died in the hospital during treatment.
