All eyes were on these seats
- Raghopur (Vaishali) – There is a direct fight between Tejashwi Yadav and BJP’s Satish Kumar Yadav on the seat inherited by Lalu family. This is the same seat from where Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav had once hoisted the flag of victory. Exit polls are indicating Tejashwi’s victory, but everyone’s eyes are on the margin.
- Tarapur (Munger) – The credibility of Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary is at stake. He is contesting elections after 15 years.
- If BJP wins this seat, then Tarapur will go to BJP’s account for the first time.
- Mokama (Patna) – There is a triangular contest between Bahubali Anant Singh, RJD’s Veena Devi, and Jan Suraj’s Piyush Priyadarshi. This seat has always been considered the most controversial and discussed in Bihar.
- Danapur (Patna) – BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav vs RJD’s Ritlal Yadav.
- There are many criminal cases against Ritlal, while Ramkripal is seeking votes from the public in the name of ‘clean image’.
- Mahua (Vaishali) – Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting the elections from his new party Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD).
- This seat is being considered as his political ‘rehabilitation test’.
- Alinagar (Darbhanga) – First election of BJP’s Maithili Thakur.
- Chapra – Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav is in the fray from RJD.
