Trends for the by-elections held on 4 assembly seats of Bihar have started emerging. By-elections were held in Imamganj, Belaganj, Tarari and Ramgarh. This election became very interesting after the entry of Prashant Kishore. Voting was held on all these seats on 13 November.
Belaganj Assembly:
JDU’s Manorama Devi is leading in the trends of this seat. Talking about this seat, on one hand the credibility of RJD leader and Jehanabad MP Surendra Yadav is at stake, while on the other hand JDU is also making a run for it. Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj, who is contesting the elections for the first time, has made the elections interesting as soon as she took entry. To destroy RJD’s equation in the elections, Jan Suraj has placed a bet on Muslim candidate.
Tarari Assembly:
NDA’s Vishal Prashant is leading in Tarari seat by 2678 votes. Prashant Kishore has also made the contest interesting in Tarari assembly seat of Bhojpur district which has seven assemblies. It is believed that the main contest here is between BJP candidate Vishal Prashant and MLA candidate Raju Yadav. Prashant Kishore also had to change his candidate from here at the last moment. It will be interesting to see whether the results will be in his favor or not.
Imamganj Assembly:
RJD’s Roshan Manjhi is leading in the trends from Imamganj assembly seat. In Imamganj assembly seat, the contest is mainly between the candidates of NDA, Grand Alliance and Jan Suraj. NDA had made Jitan Ram Manjhi’s daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi its candidate, while Roshan Manjhi was the candidate from the Grand Alliance. Whereas Jan Suraj had made Jitendra Paswan the candidate.
Ramgarh Assembly:
In the initial trends, BSP’s Satish Kumar Singh alias Pintu Yadav is leading. A triangular contest is also being seen in Ramgarh assembly seat. Here Ajit Singh from RJD, Ashok Singh from BJP, Pintu Yadav from BSP and Sushil Singh Kushwaha from Jan Suraj are in the electoral fray.
