Bigg Boss Tamil Elimination: Vijay Sethupathi Evicts Prajin This Week

Rumours had been swirling all week that VJ Paaru was the next to be eliminated from the reality show, with some social-media chatter even claiming that contestant FJ had also been asked to leave.

However, Sunday’s episode put all speculation to rest. Both contestants emerged safe, while the actual eviction shocked viewers: Prajin, a close friend of host Vijay Sethupathi and one of the show’s more familiar faces, was shown the door.

The outcome surprised many, especially since early voting trends had indicated that Prajin’s wife, Sandra, was the most likely to exit. A popular online portal’s poll, which offered a broad snapshot of viewer sentiment, had painted a different picture from what ultimately unfolded.

What the Voting Trends Revealed

According to the poll, Vinoth was leading the eviction chart with 24.28% of the votes (2,27,986 votes), placing him at the top of the danger zone. Surprisingly, VJ Paaru – at the centre of the eviction rumours – stood second with 13.44% (1,26,193 votes), a figure that suggested criticism from a section of viewers but not the overwhelming rejection social media had hinted at.

She was followed by Divya with 11.3% (1,06,087 votes) and Vikram with 9.09% (85,359 votes). Kamrudin also featured in the middle of the pack.

The most intriguing part of the poll surfaced at the bottom of the standings. Sandra, with 5.61% (52,631 votes), ranked the lowest in percentage terms. However, the difference between her and the contestants immediately above her – Subiksha, FJ, Amit, Kani, and Prajean – was razor-thin. Each was separated by just a few hundred votes, creating an unusually tight race and making this week’s elimination one of the most unpredictable of the season.

Final Outcome

Despite the polling patterns and fan predictions, the eviction card revealed an unexpected name: Prajin. His departure confirms once again that in this reality show, viewer sentiment can shift dramatically – and that rumours, polls, and trending chatter rarely tell the full story.
