ATS officer, come along… Kidnapped as soon as he left the airport, the youth was bringing gold from Dubai – Khel Ja

In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, some miscreants posing as ATS officers kidnapped a young man. These miscreants beat up the young man and snatched gold worth Rs 50 lakh from him. The youth had smuggled this gold from Dubai to India. On the complaint of a youth resident of Vadodara, the police have started investigation by registering a case against unknown miscreants under sections of robbery, assault etc. The young man told that he had gone to Dubai on the advice of his friend’s father.

He had also made arrangements for his travel and stay there. Young Danish Sheikh told the airport police that this incident took place at SVPI Airport on October 28. He told that she had gone to Dubai on October 9. Returned from there on 28 October. Arrangements for his travel and stay there were made by his friend’s father Zakir Bora. This trip was done for smuggling of gold. For this he also gave 20 thousand rupees.

Danish told that he brought two gold capsules to India by hiding them in his stomach, but as soon as he landed at Ahmedabad airport, he was kidnapped. According to Danish, he came out of the immigration process and reached the parking lot, where a van was arranged by Zakir Bora to take him to the specified destination. He was about to sit in this van when two people came and introduced themselves as ATS officers.

After this, these people accused him of gold smuggling and asked him to go to ATS headquarters. The accused took her to an isolated building, where they beat her badly and snatched gold worth about Rs 50 lakh. After this incident, the accused took him in a rickshaw and left him near Geeta Mandir. Airport Police S Inspector RH Pandav said that Sheikh was very scared after the incident. Because of this he filed the complaint late. However, on the basis of his complaint, the police have registered a case against unknown miscreants under sections of robbery, kidnapping and assault and started investigation.
