There is good news for the candidates preparing to become government assistant professors. Swami Shraddhanand College affiliated to Delhi University (DU) has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor. The online application process for this recruitment has started. Candidates can apply from 11 November 2023 to 25 November 2023. Rs 500 will have to be paid as application fee.

Salary details and selection process
After being selected for the post of Assistant Professor, the candidates will be given salary as per Pay Level 10, 7th CPC. Whereas, the selection of candidates will be based on merit and interview. Talking about the application fee, candidates coming from unreserved, EWS, OBS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Also, candidates coming from SC, ST and PWD categories will not have to pay any application fee.
Also, if we talk about education qualification, candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor should have a Master’s degree from any recognized university with at least 55%. Candidates holding degree holders from foreign universities can also apply. Also, it is necessary to be qualified in UGC NET or CSIR-UGC NET.
